Idea Energy Surveys are celebrating 10 years in business

Idea Energy Surveys are very proud to be celebrating 10 years in business this month. Since the business was formed in 2007 the company has gone from strength to strength. Changes in legislation from the government saw Home Information packs abolished after only 1 year and the Green Deal initiative never getting fully off the ground but innovation and diversity has been the key to the success of Idea Energy Surveys.

Idea Energy Surveys prides itself on the knowledge and experience it offers. Alun is a time served joiner and worked for years as a leading Joiner in the North East region before entering the world of energy efficiency surveys in 2007. Since then Alun has studied and practiced a wide range of surveys including managing a team of surveyors in London for the first Keepmoat ECO regeneration scheme, working with builders and architects for the West Park development, overseeing the quality of thousands of EPC's for Coast and Country Housing Association and completing Commercial and Domestic EPC's for Agents and Landlords. Alun is qualified and experienced as a Level 4 Commercial Assessor, a Domestic Energy Assessor, a SAP and SBEM assessor, an Air Tightness tester and a Legionella Assessor. It's fair to say he is a walking encyclopedia on building and energy efficiency matters. No wonder he has felt busy for the last 10 years. He also likes a game of golf and has built many business relationships and friendships over the years on the golf course. Our clients have played a big part in our continued success and we are very proud that some of our clients have been with us for the 10 year journey.
